An evening of stories and monologues
There's something that happens when one person stands up and tells a story to a room of people. It's one of the oldest things we do. StoryLogs is built around that idea — actors performing 5–10 minute stories, speeches, poems, and monologues for an audience arranged, quite literally, like they're gathered around a campfire.
No sets. No costumes. Just a story and the person telling it.
We've pulled together some of Portland's finest art forms to make this happen — song, poetry, Shakespeare, historical speeches, song, and more. George Mount, longtime artistic director of Seattle Shakespeare Company, is at the helm.
Come sit by the fire.
